ABOUT THE POSITIONS
We are looking for talented individuals interested in the following categories:
Social Media & Email Marketing
Graphic Design
Copywriting

Things to note: This social media internship position is unpaid and based out of Nantucket and Cape Cod, MA. Remote and in-person applicants accepted.
TIME COMMITMENT
More than likely, you’ll be required through your school to receive school credit for the internship, which will determine the number of hours you’ll need to work each week (approx. 10-15).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social media content creation & posting
Assist with social media & content creation needs
Basic graphic design conceptualization and creation
Assist with basic research, production, posting, and maintenance of client’s social media platforms and related tools
Identify opportunities for social media engagement and messaging for clients
Compile social media analytics reports and provide optimization recommendations
Assist with blog posts, email copywriting, graphic creation, and more
Monitor social media comments and messages on a daily basis for clients
Perform routine platform optimization
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Marketing, Journalism, and/or Communications major, or similar degree field
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram (& related tools), X (Twitter), Pinterest (& related tools), and Google Drive.
Preferred experience with social media scheduling tools (like Later, Planoly, or Buffer), Google Drive, Dropbox.
Preferred experience with content creation
Passion for social media and on top of current social media best practices and trends
Detail-oriented, with flawless editing and proofreading skills
Highly-organized
Able to meet tight deadlines
Data-driven with ability to connect results with goals
Self-starting, creative problem solver

Social Media Community Manager + Copywriter (Part-Time)
Now Hiring: Social Media Community Manager + Copywriter (Part-Time)
Marina Morgan Markering is looking to add a collaborative, motivated, detail-oriented, and social media-obsessed Social Media Community Manager + Copywriter to our growing team.
This is a part-time position (approx. 25-30 hrs/week). Please note that remote and in-person applicants will be accepted.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL…
Have a passion for eye-catching content with a well-crafted message. You are eager to grow and be a force in achieving client goals through tactical social initiatives. As a key member of the social team, you’ll play an essential role in supporting and managing social media communities and messaging across multiple client accounts by interacting with each brand’s handles daily, replying to and engaging within messages, reviews, comments, and check-ins.
This person will also create engaging copy for social media and marketing materials. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for writing, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
On core social accounts, you’ll assist with drafting weekly and monthly updates and reports for clients, managing social communities and keeping close track of client requests and needs. You’ll also be helping to develop the Editorial Calendar by sourcing on-brand content, assisting with story mockups, facilitating daily postings, and keeping content mission archives organized and easily accessible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Management
Own community management and the brand voice for multiple social media accounts, primarily on Instagram and Facebook
Monitor, reply to, and engage within messages, reviews, comments, geo-tags/photo tags and check-ins across the social media channels on a daily basis (Mon-Friday, standard business hours)
Proactively engage with relevant accounts to help drive followership and growth via client channels
Find UGC (user-generated content) and support request efforts
Execute proactive community management efforts as directed by account lead, learning and growing knowledge of successful tactics leading to follower growth
Flag any thematic feedback or trends you see from the communities that you’re managing to the account lead
Copywriting
Write and edit engaging, on-brand copy for web content, product stories, blogs, promotional emails, and all forms of social media.
Assist and collaborate with the team in developing concepts and content calendars for clients.
Consistently create clear and compelling copy free of spelling, grammatical and formatting errors.
Conduct research on industry trends and audience demographics.
Other
Demonstrate attention to detail, while being able to prioritize and multitask
Stay on top of the latest trends in social media
Ability to perform other tasks, duties, or projects as required
EXPERIENCE
Social media internship experience preferred
Proven skills in utilizing the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok and social media schedulers such as Buffer
Content creation capabilities preferred: video, photography & graphics, shot lists, props, storylines
REQUIREMENTS
Computer skills, including knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, Asana, and Slack
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Basic understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter
Foundational understanding of influencer engagement
Ability to learn Facebook Business Manager
Passion for social media and on top of current social media best practices and trends
PAY
$15-17/hr, depending on experience

Our office hours are technically “9 am — 4 pm” BUT our days are flexible. Some days we work early / late or on weekends, but as long as the work is getting done and our clients are being responded to timely, our schedules can be incredibly flexible.

This job is fully remote. If you are in the area; Nantucket, MA or Cape Cod, MA then we would love to meet periodically in person.
We do meet in person at least once a year for our brand photoshoots and/ or industry events.
